As I sit down to write this article, I'm filled with excitement and a sense of purpose. You see, I'm the founder of Seahawk, a platform that's making a big impact in the WordPress community. Our goal is to create the biggest marketplace globally for WordPress services and localize in every market, similar to Fiverr and Dentsu, but with a specific focus on WordPress-related tasks. What started out as a passion later flourished into a full-scale business, and we are now trusted by the top WordPress web hosts to power their retention and activation professional services departments.

How I got started with WordPress

I've always been passionate about WordPress since I got started with with GoDaddy Pro nearly a decade ago! It is how I met my Co-founder, Gautam!  Check out this video of our event with GoDaddy in our office in Gurgaon, India.

GoDaddy would send us overflow support because their tech support was not trained to work within the WordPress admin, and we became one of the most referred and reviewed GoDaddy Pro partners. From this experience I learned how large the demand was for WordPress services from not only the end-user clients, but how web host companies were in desperate need for staff augmentation to serve this customer need.

My Co-Founder, Gautam Khorana, who owned Sitecook at the time was ranked respectively for the GoDaddy India region. We ended up acquiring Sitecook in 2019 and he joined Seahawk as our COO.

We've seen firsthand how WordPress has transformed the web. With more than 40% of all websites on the internet now powered by WordPress, it's clear that there is a tremendous demand for WordPress-related services. That's where Seahawk comes in.
